Once upon a time there were two young fellows who longed for more than what was offered them. They worked together for a period of time, and experienced enough corporate drudgery to decide that it wasn’t for them. Granted, it wasn’t 20 years in a cubicle working for The Man, but it doesn’t take much to know when something isn’t for you. They longed to turn their hobbies, passions, and dreams, into a real-life opportunity to succeed.
So they took it upon themselves to discover how to live out what they were passionate about instead of just working for a paycheck to take care of the rent. Turns out, there aren’t many places for people, young and old alike, to produce something they’re passionate about.
Sure, there are plenty of books, blog posts, and podcasts about discovering your passions, but there’s no real outlet. In the process of finding out how a few beginner steps to living out their own passions, Rob and Jeremy wanted to create a place that others could as well. No matter what you care about — arts and crafts, fashion, relationships, sports, food and beverage, entertainment, etc. – if you have the right platform and the right tools, it can be done; no matter what it may be.
Hence, Thought Circus was born. Through much toil, a humble website came together in early 2013; a first step in creating passionate people who share extraordinary information, thoughts, and opinions about our extraordinary world.
Release the Extraordinary.
