Jessica and I are committed to running Grandma’s Marathon in June! It’s an annual marathon in Duluth, MN. She has ran one marathon before, but this will be the first one for me. We have approximately 92 days, 6 hours, and 45 minutes until the start of the race. Yikes! I’m extremely excited to run it, but…

I need some help from my friends:

What’s the best way to train?
How much running?
What should our nutrition plan look like?
Should I include some strength training (lifting)?
What music should be on our playlist for the run?

Please leave a comment at the bottom of this post for me! Any personal experience or advice is welcome!

    Rob,

Congrats on taking on this exciting feet (no pun intended!). Here is the website that I have used for the past couple marathons and it worked for me.

Biggest thing that I have learned is that the later in the training, the more crucial it is. Don’t skip out on the later ones!!

Let me know if you want anymore info!

    Eddie
